We really don’t have a phone at the nursery and cannot answer questions on the phone. If you really need to reach us you can leave a message in the office, but you must understand . . .
Mike doesn’t do phones, does not receive incoming phone calls and Mike does not return phone calls. Mike doesn’t even go into the office!

Hours?
From April thru October we are here daily. Usually by 9:00 a.m. until????????
If it rains we pack it in and go home because there’s really nothing for us to do in the rain.
Please understand, this is a part-time, retirement business for Pam and I. We do the best we can, but when it’s slow we can’t sit around hoping somebody shows up. April and May were are here 7 days a week, usually til 5:00 p.m.
We sell really nice plants at really fair prices. In order to do that we have to keep our overhead expenses as low as possible. That means that we can’t pay people unless there is work for them to do.
In September we usually do at least three weekend sales as well as in April and May. Most other days we are here until 3:00 or 4:00 pm. I try really hard to get people to stay later but that’s not always easy with part-time help.

P.S. I wish our hours were more predictable, but this is a crazy seasonal business that’s difficult to understand unless you live in our world.
